We all tend to think people spend a lot of time thinking about us. In fact, the average person has little effect on the thoughts of their friends and colleagues
People are busy;
They donβt have time to read about what you are doing unless it is somehow linked to what they want.
If you can prove that you can help them achieve their goals, it doesnβt matter how long it takes, they will become interested in you and your services.
Successful people are generally those who persevere in the face of uncertainty, and there have been plenty of such people throughout history. Some accomplished their objectives through sheer will alone, while others had the benefit of outside resources or connections to aid them.
Every professional was once an amateur. It's easy to forget this now, but if you look back more than a few decades, the most successful practitioners of almost any field started out as beginners with no formal credentials.
No one on earth thinks about you as much you think they do. Β
You are not that high on anyone's priority list most of the time.
You might not even be in their top 5.
Think about your past weeks and months.
Fridays β do you feel a sense of accomplishment?
Sundays β are you looking forward to the week?
Your tasks β do you enjoy the majority of them?
If you answered No to any of these questions, it's a sign something needs to be fixed.
Do something that terrifies you
If you courageously confront fear for 20 seconds every single day, before you know it, youβll be in a better position.
The people you look up to are people who have pushed through the struggles you will face. Celebrate their success, be inspired by them, but don't revere them.
Who can relate to this?
β’ When you try to quote a statistic without looking at the source and come up with something wrong
β’ When the maps app on your phone doesn't have directions to your destination
β’ When you spend hours talking about something you know nothing about
