Keir Starmer promised “change.” He delivered decline.
Pensioners lost their winter fuel payments in the middle of a cost-of-living crisis. Small businesses were hammered with tax rises. Farmers were punished. Net zero damaged economic and energy security. Welfare reforms targeted the disabled and vulnerable while the Labour government raised taxes and watched growth limp along. Starmer talked about fixing the NHS - yet waiting lists stayed high. The economy sputtered, government borrowing increased and ordinary families felt poorer, not better. On illegal migration, Starmer failed completely. Small boats kept arriving. Over 50,000 a year.
He had no vision. No story. No sense of direction. Just a lawyer’s skill at muddying the water dressed up as statesmanship. More in thrall to the Davos clique rather the connecting with the public mood.
Endless U-turns. Wooden, uninspiring, po-faced communication. Scandals over appointing Mandelson, his indulgence in freebies and donor influence that shattered the “transparent government” illusion he sold.
He governed like a man terrified of his own shadow — risk-averse, reactive, and utterly lacking the political antenna or leadership presence to unite a fractured country.
His approval ratings had collapsed to historic lows — net favourability around -46, among the worst for any modern Prime Minister. Local elections were a disaster for Labour. Cabinet ministers resigned. His own MPs openly plotted against him. He went from a landslide victory (in terms of parliamentary seats) to one of the most despised figures in recent British politics faster than almost anyone in living memory.
Starmer didn’t just underperform. He confirmed the worst fears of those who never trusted him: a blank, directionless technocrat who wanted power more than he knew what to do with it. He betrayed the mandate, broke umpteen manifesto pledges, betrayed the vulnerable, and left Britain more disillusioned than when he arrived.
That is his woeful record. And that is why there should be absolutely no sympathy for his resignation today.
🚨 THE SECRET LABOUR SELLOUT HAS JUST LEAKED.
Brussels has just arrogantly postponed our UK-EU summit because they are waiting to deal directly with Andy Burnham. 🤡
They are already publicly demanding the new Labour leader be "bold" and surrender even more of our independence.
And look at the absolute scam the establishment was quietly preparing to sign behind your back.
Labour was planning to slash university tuition fees for EU students, heavily subsidising them with your taxpayer cash while British kids drown in massive student debt! 💷
Foreign bureaucrats are now openly mocking Brexit as a "con job" and promising to "reward" Burnham if he brings us back under their control.
Starmer started the betrayal, but Burnham is the slick, pro-EU puppet they actually want.
They are treating our country like a vassal state to be bought and sold.
RT if you demand we stay completely OUT of the EU and put British students FIRST! 🔁🇬🇧🔥
19 seconds in Southport laying a wreath, no tears.
No tears for British farmers who committed suicide.
No tears for pensioners.
No tears for betrayed British veterans.
No tears for the victims of illegal migration.
No tears for Henry Nowak.
Tears for himself only.
Utterly disgraceful & disrespectful behaviour from the new SNP MP for Arbroath & Broughty Ferry. She added a preamble to the loyal oath indicating she didn’t accept it, then read the actual words holding up crossed fingers, presumably to signify she didn’t believe it. Awful.
💙 The midfielder has today agreed a one-year contract extension, with the club holding the option of a further year.
Rice, who joined Rangers from Motherwell's Academy in the summer of 2022, made his debut for the club at just 16 years of age.

Apparently Keir Starmer feels “betrayed”.
I have more sympathy for the farmers, taxpayers, pensioners, veterans, and everyone else his government has stabbed in the back.
The “betrayal” he feels now is nothing compared to the pain he’s inflicted upon this nation.
If Vladimir Putin changed the voting system days before an election to stop his opponents winning, every British journalist would call it what it is: rigging the rules.
Tonight, Labour rammed through a last‑minute switch in the Lords so that if Andy Burnham wins Makerfield and quits as Greater Manchester Mayor, his replacement won’t be chosen on a simple first‑past‑the‑post ballot, but on the supplementary vote system instead.
Why now?
Because Labour knows the race to replace Burnham would be a straight two‑horse fight with Reform UK – and under FPTP, the candidate with the most votes wins, no second chances, no back‑room redistributions, no “stop Reform” stitch‑ups.
Under SV, Labour gets a second bite of the cherry: if their candidate can limp into the top two, they can hoover up second preferences from every other party and magic a “majority” on the second count, even if Reform tops the poll on first preferences.
This isn’t “modernising democracy”. It’s the governing party using its Commons majority and the unelected Lords to hurriedly doctor the rules of one specific contest because it’s terrified the voters might choose someone else.
When the establishment preached to the world about “rules‑based order”, they forgot to mention one thing: in Britain, the rules are “based” on whether Labour thinks it might lose.
🚨 Jürgen Klopp has launched a scathing attack on the cooling breaks being used during this World Cup. 👊
"Football is being held hostage by executives sitting in air-conditioned offices.
These breaks are being presented as a shield for player welfare, a noble weapon against the heat. In reality, they are nothing more than a golden cage built for sponsors.
When I saw players standing around during cooling breaks while television timeouts dictated the rhythm of the match, I couldn't help but ask myself: who is the World Cup really serving?
The supporters? The players? Or the advertisers?
A World Cup match should flow like a river. Instead, we are building dams in the middle of it so commercials can be shown.
It's dangerous for the spirit of the game. Football used to be the main event, but it now risks becoming background music for an advertising show."
He didn't hold back. 👏👏
Ed Miliband doesn't need to explain what Net Zero will do to Britain.
Aberdeen is already showing us.

🚨🇪🇺BREAKING: EU PARLIAMENT ERUPTS
"SEND THEM BACK, SEND THEM BACK"
HUGE WIN FOR PATRIOTS
The EU has just voted 418-218 in favour of DEPORTING illegal migrants easier
Patriots chanted "SEND THEM BACK" while leftists returned with "SHAME ON YOU"
🚨The BBC caught red handed.
Remember the Question Time episode where illegal migrants were planted in the audience to lecture me and the country on our border policy?
We now have *confirmation* the BBC PLANTED there and they were COACHED on what to say by a charity pushing for open borders.
The CEO of this 'charity', Jenni Regan, was also in the audience and chosen to ask a question.
Note, when I formally complained to the BBC about this and explicitly asked them if the audience members were coached, the BBC refused to answer.
Now we know why.
One of these men who broke into the country began reading a statement warning against Britain leaving the ECHR, even featuring the Northern Ireland protocol!
One of them specifically attacked me and my family.
Because they had been coached to do so.
The BBC is morally bankrupt.
To deliberately plant men who broke into Britain illegally in the audience, allow them to be told what to say and let them launch into attacks on Reform and lecture the British people is disgusting behaviour.
To conceal it is even more outrageous.
They should apologise immediately.
