In the books, Rhaenyra was a heavily built, scarred, and deeply traumatized woman who the smallfolk cruelly mocked while calling her “Maegor with Teats.”

The moment she took the Iron Throne, her reign devolved into a campaign of blood, relentless extortion, and pure terror against her own people.

She turned the Red Keep into a slaughterhouse, executing anyone suspected of Green sympathies or treason without a trial, lining the city walls and gates with severed heads as a gruesome daily warning.

To pay for her war, she brought in Bartimos Celtigar to bleed the smallfolk dry, imposing soul-crushing taxes on basic food, trade, marriages, and even funerals. Anyone who couldn't pay was beaten, dragged from their home, or stripped of everything they owned by her Gold Cloaks.

Her cruelty reached a sadistic peak in the dungeons, where she ordered the horrific, prolonged torture of Lord Tyland Lannister, blinding, gelding, and mutilating him to force out the location of the stolen royal gold.

When public fury began to boil over, she turned King's Landing into an open-air prison by locking the city gates. She trapped thousands of starving citizens inside to rot while her knights used brutal force to crush any protests in the streets.

Driven completely mad by paranoia after the Tumbleton betrayals, she turned her bloody gaze onto her own inner circle, branding loyal dragonriders like Addam Velaryon as traitors and issuing a death order for the young dragonseed Nettles.

"Maegor with Teats" wasn't just a clever tavern insult, it was a title written in blood on the city walls, earned by a queen who chose to rule through sheer, unadulterated terror.
