i've been in content marketing for over a decade.
in the last 18 months i watched AI replace junior writers, commoditize skills people spent years building, and quietly make entire roles redundant.
i didn't give up. i adapted.
here's what i know now that i wish someone told me earlier:
I cannot comprehend the people who only consume.
The people whose entire lives consist of playing video games, listening to music, and watching Netflix all day long.
Isn't the act of creation divine? You were gifted with the most powerful ability of any life on this Earth. And yet all you do is consume.
You lose your mind when your favorite NFL team loses the game, you track each player's stats down to the exact decimal percent, you follow the balance updates for the meaningless video games you play, and you practically bounce off the walls when the next episode of that show everyone is raving about drops.
How are you not building a business? Writing a book? Painting? Learning to play an instrument?
I'm thankful that these average people exist. Makes the journey to the top a little easier.
