Thursday Thoughts:
The greatness of a leader isn't solely determined by their job performance or technical skills. Instead, a true & wise leader is measured by their ability to connect with their team, inspire them, and earn their respect.

Leaders are great at solving problems, forging ahead through challenges and showing iron clad devotion to the issues they believe in. They are good at coming up with all sorts of plans. But one question each leader should ask themselves is "do I need a recovery plan"?
While focusing on hard skills (like technical expertise or specific knowledge) is important, neglecting soft skills (like communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence) can lead to serious issues.

Monday Leader Mindset Shift:
There is an old saying that goes "you can't calm the storm without if you can't calm the storm within".
Reflection: What current leadership challenges are causing you internal conflict? What steps can you take to start resolving that conflict?
Leaders do "heavy lifting" in their day-to-day undertakings. Think about the amount of responsibilities, weight, pressure, etc. that is placed on you. I don't have to tell you that it's a lot. Leadership recovery strategies are necessary to help you better manage that demand.
Kudos Goodwill Southeast for a successful Friendversary. Thank you so much for the invite to hear more about your programs and take a behind the scenes look at your facilities. Congrats to all of the amazing work you do.
Let's Talk about it Tuesday:
Being honest with yourself and (responsibly with others when needed) is the first step in the Leadership Recovery process. Honesty is an important step on your journey to relieving unnecessary leadership challenges, pressures and weights.
