आज @EduMinOfIndia द्वारा आयोजित विभिन्न राज्यों के शिक्षा मंत्रियों के दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया। इस अवसर पर आगामी 29 जुलाई को राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति (NEP) 2020 के क्रियान्वयन के छह वर्ष पूर्ण होने के संदर्भ में समग्र शिक्षा, PM SHRI, PM POSHAN, NIPUN सहित School Education से जुड़ी केंद्र प्रायोजित योजनाओं की प्रगति, राज्यों से प्राप्त सुझावों तथा आगामी कार्ययोजना पर व्यापक चर्चा हुई। केंद्र और राज्यों की साझेदारी ही इन पहलों के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन का सबसे मजबूत आधार है।

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के 'विकसित भारत 2047' के संकल्प को साकार करने के लिए School Education सबसे महत्वपूर्ण आधार है। आज देश के लगभग 30 करोड़ स्कूली बच्चों के लिए NEP 2020 के अनुरूप Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), मातृभाषा में शिक्षा, कौशल विकास, खेल, नवाचार, वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण तथा विद्यालयों में सामुदायिक सहभागिता को और सशक्त बनाने पर विशेष बल दिया जा रहा है। साथ ही PM SHRI विद्यालयों, PM POSHAN, Atal Tinkering Labs के विस्तार तथा School Education की गुणवत्ता को नई गति देने पर भी भारत सरकार और राज्य सरकार मिलकर कार्य कर रही है।

यह सम्मेलन केवल योजनाओं की समीक्षा का मंच नहीं, बल्कि 'विकसित भारत' के लिए साझा संकल्प का महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है। राज्यों के अनुभव, नवाचार और कार्य प्रणालियों के आधार पर हम NEP 2020 के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन को और गति देंगे तथा प्रत्येक बच्चे को गुणवत्तापूर्ण, समावेशी और भविष्य उन्मुख शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराकर भारत की अमृत पीढ़ी को राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए सशक्त बनाएंगे।

On Monday morning, I will be hosting a large group of students at the Senate of Canada for the 4th annual NextGEN Assembly of Leaders. This year, this transformative event will be bigger than ever. In addition to welcoming students from Montreal’s Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board, more than 100 students from fourteen schools in four different provinces will also participate virtually.

This hybrid event gives youth an opportunity to interact with parliamentarians, diplomats, or policymakers and to exchange ideas on issues of national interests. I am very much looking forward to interacting with these bright young leaders next week and to try to come up with solutions to some of our nation’s most challenging and urgent problems.

Lundi matin, j'accueillerai un grand groupe d'étudiants au Sénat du Canada pour la quatrième assemblée annuelle des leaders NextGEN. Cette année, cet événement transformateur sera plus important que jamais. En plus d'accueillir des élèves de la Commission scolaire Sir Wilfrid Laurier de Montréal, plus de 100 élèves de quatorze écoles de quatre provinces différentes participeront aussi virtuellement à l'événement.

Cet événement hybride donne aux jeunes l'occasion d'interagir avec des parlementaires, des diplomates ou des décideurs politiques et d'échanger des idées sur des questions d'intérêt national. J'ai hâte d'interagir avec ces jeunes leaders brillants la semaine prochaine et d'essayer de trouver des solutions à certains des problèmes les plus difficiles et les plus urgents de notre pays.

During a very busy week in Ottawa, I also had the privilege of awarding several King Charles III Coronation Medals during individual ceremonies. Over the next few days, I will be highlighting the outstanding recipients.

Today, I want to recognize two remarkable individuals: Antonia Macris, a dedicated youth leader in the Hellenic community, and Daniel Johnson, an inspiring educator and mentor.

Receiving the King Charles III Coronation Medal is a remarkable achievement, reflecting the lasting impact they have made in strengthening our country. Congratulations to both recipients.

Daniel Johnson
His unwavering dedication to students and education is shaping brighter futures. Through transformational leadership, he empowers young people, builds bridges across Canada, and works tirelessly to make the world a better place.

Antonia Macris
With over 10 years of community service, philanthropy, and public service, Antonia exemplifies youth leadership. Her contributions positively impact both the Hellenic and Canadian youth communities across Montreal, Canada, the U.S., and Greece.

As Sgt. Ford wisely said, “It’s not about the medals you earn, it’s about earning those medals every day.”
