@KindKind6228@TinaYazdani Time management as well! That's probably one of the biggest thing my son learned last year in Grade 9 while playing rep sports.
@CityNewsTO I have two kids that play competitive hockey with tournaments. One missed 1.5 days because of a tournament and the other missed 7 days - 4 of which were the school team. Both are honours students. It's the kids sitting on my street curb skipping class that are the issue.
The best I could get with my glasses and phone. Lots of clouds in the way but it was still pretty neat to watch. Best part was when it went dark, the street lights went on and the temperature dropped. #eclipse2024
Day 1 of JungleSport for 5A and 5B. This was definitely a struggle for many students but there were lots of laughs and smiles! We can't wait for Day 2! @OscarPetersonP2@JungleSport
@ONTSpecialNeeds I think they're fine, just parents need to teach them how to open them and close them. Teachers help when they can but when you have a class of 30 students, running around opening lunches is brutal!
Yay! This summer's garden has been planted! Zuchinni, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers and even brussel sprouts! Can't wait to watch them get bigger and sprout some delicious goodies! Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend! #happylongweekend
End Mubarak to all of those celebrating...and a special Eid Mubarak to the families of @OscarPetersonP2 . I hope you have a great weekend celebrating with family and friends!
Went to Queen's Park with the Grade 5s and met @SherefSabawyPC. The students learned a lot and had a great introduction to the political system in Ontario. @OscarPetersonP2#ontgov
A math challenge one of the Grade 4 classes took on today. Lots of good math conversations and calculations. Good job Grade 4s! @OscarPetersonP2#maththinking
@TorontoTeacherX @tdsb@fordnation Honest question. Are they all illness? There is often a drop in attendance the week before a break due to early departure travelers to avoid the busier travel days.
A day in the life of an ISSP at a K-5 school:
1. Beginning, Middle & End with Gr. 1
2. Adding & Subtracting 3-digit numbers with Gr. 3
3. Problem Solving with Gr. 4
4. Reading with Gr. 1
Every day is different. Every period is different.
