There should be more classes like #educ307. Technology is a huge part of our lives & society. This makes it so much more important for everyone to learn how to effectively and appropriately use it inside/outside of the classroom as well as be aware of the dangers!
The Mickey Mouse Monopoly documentary is very eye opening towards themes of race, culture and gender. I never realized how much control/power Disney actually has over their audiences and other corporations #Lesson11
Despite how much I love Disney, #lesson11 & the religion class i previously took made me realize certain themes I would have never picked up on as a child
One of my favourite Disney movies of all time is Mulan. Last year I took a Religion class that focused a lot on Orientalism and since then I think so differently of it due to the cultural appropriation, inconsistencies and stereotyping of the Asian culture #lesson11
I think that was a great move of him to help young men and all men w mental health. I feel like men open up less on social media about mental health and once someone starts it’s easier for everyone else
I agree, Carey Price recently opened up about his mental health and I think he is projecting a positive message and raising awareness towards getting help
I cool to see celebrities finally opening up about the hidden parts of their life that they don’t share on social media and the way you can make your life seem so perfect by only posting select photos #educ307
I think its hard to share you opinion online sometimes because if its not a popular opinion people will tack you. there is no more back and forth discussion there's only attacking each other. #lesson10
I haven't heard about that term before either! If think that it describes the new generation very very well, especially when I see kids having an iPad before 10 years old...
@ryan_mamay I think for our generation Facebook is sort of dying out. In the past 2 years TikTok blew up and I think Instagram will continue to be popular too!
