Men don't actually hate feminism-they hate that it took away their free labor. Cooking, cleaning, raising kids, being a therapist, a secretary, a personal assistant-all things women used to do for free under the label of "being a good wife." Now that women are opting out, suddenly the world is in "crisis." The "traditional wife" wasn't a cherished role-it was unpaid labor disguised as love. And now that women are demanding actual partnership instead of servitude, men are losing their minds.
So let’s get this straight, Starmer will throw his working class female deputy under the bus over a tax error, but will stand by Mandelson, an upper class toff who did business with the sex trafficking rapist, Epstein, even whilst he was in jail?
Fucking joke.
“The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction and the distinction between true and false no longer exist.”
― Hannah Arendt, The Origins of Totalitarianism
My video on Pros & Cons of the Copper Coil went viral (1.1M views) but the reoccurring question was why I didn’t mention excruciating pain on insertion??
This is because the BIGGEST CON is: we as women have accepted pain as part of our biology and our gynaecological procedures AND therefore #painreliefoptions are not offered or equipments are not developed for more comfort
Insertion pain is SO accepted, so normalised & entrenched that we never question the concept of needing painrelief, better equipment and better training
We must never accept PAIN as a given on a device insertion BUT demand better
#medicalmisogyny
As a GP, I am not allowed to receive a pen or post-it note pad from a pharmaceutical company rep
Govt banned them in case I was influenced to prescribe medications
This should also be banned
Influence being bought in Govt
Patients should influence not the healthy & wealthy

.@labourlewis: "In truth, our welfare system is increasingly the state subsidising employers who pay poverty wages, landlords charging unaffordable rents & corporations extracting vast profits, all at societys expense" 🎯
Nigel Farage wants to leave the ECHR to make YOU considerably poorer.
No state pension.
No minimum wage.
No state benefits.
No maternity pay.
No holiday pay.
No sick pay.
And ultimately, no NHS.
Nigel Farage is not on your side.
Stop being thick and wake-up!
Been spending a productive day talking to colleagues about teaching the British Empire. I think we need to challenge the use of “legacies” when discussing Empire as much as we do “balance”. Here’s why:

We are condemned to an eternity of decline.
We'll spend our lives being told by politicians they need to cut some more, claiming this time prosperity will come.
We have to save ourselves from this nightmare 👇

Tony Benn’s 5 questions:
“What power have you got?
Where did you get it from?
In whose interests do you exercise it?
To whom are you accountable?
How do we get rid of you?”
“And if you can’t get rid of the people who govern you, you don’t live in a democratic system.”
How about all the £ the govt spends on tax credits to subsidise low wages? The businesses involved in PPE fraud or the private outsourcing of NHS services and their over imflated costs? Nope, go for the low hanging fruit.
