About submission, I have realized it's a case of inadequacy of men that makes women struggle to submit. You haven't taken hold of your life yet but somehow you want to tell another adult what to do with theirs.

You struggle with your emotions, character zero, poor decision skills, low emotional intelligence and maturity, lacks accountability and breaks promises but yet you want a woman to trust your leadership. Women are hypergamous in nature and if she's going to submit to you, you have to be better than her in handling life.

A blind man cannot lead a man with eyes and until you realize that submission will come from a place of true leadership and not because of a mere title or the age gap between you and her, you'll never taste submission.

My mum’s friend came this morning with a very funny marriage problem.

She said whenever she and her husband quarrel, the man takes his work very seriously.

He wakes up early, gets to work early, does everything he needs to do and comes back early.

But the moment they settle their differences and start getting along again, everything changes.

This same man suddenly wants to sleep till 10am before going to work. He comes back late and starts behaving like work is no longer important.

Now she is asking my mum, “How do I make this man understand that being happy with me should not make him lose focus on his work and life?”

Honestly, I think some men need to learn how to separate marital peace from personal discipline.
