So, when do we start?
@WhatsApp since the app is now like a mini social media platform where ads are being run, I think the next feature should be editing captions.
Please share with the team. 💐

@emmanuelblows A little monthly compensation for this role would really be good because of the scope of work required. But yeah, I hope the best candidate get it.
Social media management can be a fun role but you’re managing so much, and the pay can be quite underwhelming majority of the times. And some expectations are unrealistic, some brands mistake you for an influencer.

The Moniepoint CEO said Nigerian developers don't meet global standards.
Let me tell you what global standards actually look like for a backend developer at a fintech company:
Can you design a payment system that handles concurrent transactions without duplicate charges?
Can you implement idempotency across distributed services?
Can you explain CAP theorem and which tradeoff you'd make for a Nigerian payment rail?
Can you build a fraud detection system that catches anomalies in real time not in batch jobs?
Can you write a database migration on a table with 50 million rows with zero downtime?
Can you design for intermittent network specifically Nigerian infrastructure not AWS us-east-1?
If you can answer all six confidently with working code You meet global standards. The next question is whether Moniepoint's offer meets yours.
I checked my email this morning like I always do. Then I came across 4 sponsored emails from the promotions label.
My question is, do brands really make conversions through sponsored emails? If you've ever worked with a brand that runs it, how does it work? Enlighten me please
If he says he can’t find talent in Nigeria, the issue is his hiring process.
I know someone rejected by Moniepoint for not being “good enough”. That same person now works as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Amazon.
Girl to girl >>>
Right now, would you rather spend your money on:
- iPhone 17
- install solar
- rent your dream house
- wear a Daniel Alain Grandeur hair
- own a Baguette bag
Sometimes @X can be a funny place to be in.
Tell me why I just saw a guy post a screenshot of a job interview from a company and shared his excitement about it.
Only for X people to tell him the job was a scam. Y'all please 😭😭😂
It actually was a scam 😭😂😂
