We're delighted to welcome a fantastic collection of exhibitors, organisations and space enthusiasts who'll be joining us at Cranfield on Saturday 7th November.

☄️ MSG Meteorites
📚 Samantha Tauber / VNCCII
🪐 Space Oddities

We also hope to welcome more professionals and organisations from across the UK space industry to future events. Our invitations have been extended, and our door remains open to anyone who wants to engage directly with the public, share their expertise and inspire curiosity about space exploration.
At The Armchair Astronaut, our events aren't just about meeting an astronaut. They're about bringing people together, sharing knowledge, discovering something new and celebrating everything that makes space exploration so fascinating.
And yes, you'll also get to hear from and meet NASA astronaut Doug Hurley!

@FortyII If it is really going to be that bad, the trains will be cancelled anyway, surely!?

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@FortyII Do you have travel insurance? You should be able to claim if it is due to health.

[UK Space Agency @spacegovuk]

Happy launch anniversary to @BepiColombo, which began its mission to Mercury #OnThisDay in 2018. 🚀

The joint @ESA-@JAXA_en mission will increase our understanding of the planet's composition, structure and atmosphere. It will arrive at Mercury on 21 November. 🛰️

50 years ago, Dave Allen told a joke about newspaper readers in 1976, it would become more famous 11 years after this on Yes, Prime Minister in 1987.

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@Crocidolite11 @BritishGas 🤦‍♀️ Have you seen @EMR advert?
"On time, relaxing, clean & WIFI"🤯...not had that experience, even FIRST CLASS, for years! 🤣 Now they're actively promoting 'train switch' as they have so many cancelled trains they have to offer an 'alternative company' to fulfil promises!! 🤦‍♀️

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

From distant memory, I recall when they did ring, they expect you to be waiting by the door to pounce and if you are not there in 10secs they leave it and run off. 🤯
I imagine @Amazon are now employing a fleet of gremlins that would dissolve on human interaction.

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

Can someone explain why @Amazon couriers never deliver in-person? I have not been able to say that I have had a perfect delivery for over 2 years.
The fact that there is the option to say 'delivered to safe place despite someone being in' should alert them to at least try! 🤷🏼‍♀️

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@meljomur Going by the symbols associated with the other countries. I'd say 'America is an Eagle'... but I appreciate the sentiment behind the poem.

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@Rob_Coppinger They live in spain. That is their permanent address. They still voted in the EU referendum. Probably because they had been there less than 15 yrs in 2016.

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@Rob_Coppinger Interesting. I know many who live in spain. I am sure they voted.

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@FortyII Thank Amanda xx

OMG! How does a small body make so much snot from nowhere!? #flu 🤧😷🤒😵‍💫

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@nicholascook I pay my licence and watch practically nothing on the BBC these days.
When @TheMontyDon retires, it'll be creating absolutely nothing of interest to me, but because I like watching other channels on my Freesat, I still have to pay... why!?

[Vix Southgate 🦊 @Victrix75]

@MartinSLewis @ofgem I am still utterly confused, but I have renewed my fixed rate and don't plan to switch... so hopefully I have done all I can to keep my bills as low as I can.
