🫠Looks like Twitter made their free-tier API even more limited: now the max number of tweets is only 500/month (17 per day?). It seems it will no longer be possible to tweet more frequently than that with a free Twitter developer account.
Their next tier, Basic, is $200/month and would give 15000 tweets, but I assume no one here is crazy enough to pay for that. I could, but it'd only be enough for 20 users to tweet hourly, so it wouldn't be enough. The next tier is $5000/month.
Those of you tweeting every three hours or more shouldn't be affected (although, if you start/stop your bot repeatedly, it's possible to run into that 17/day limit).
Those of you who have been tweeting more frequently should switch to every 2 hours, for now at least. If your bot isn't tweeting, it's likely hit Twitter's daily rate limit already, which I believe should reset in 24 hours. Sorry about this.
