@windows7efi people are going to say the same thing about windows 8 and windows 10 when they eventually grow up. it's your nostalgia talking, though admittedly windows aero is implemented better in windows 7 compared to mica with windows 11. i still use 7 sometimes on some of my systems.

i was actually recording the shutdown as it occurred, the games, themes, and other stuff just completely disappeared. i soon lost connection to xbox live and when i rebooted, i was greeted with that dashboard layout
