I wouldn’t lose hope quite yet about a Nintendo Direct not being announced at 10:00 am because Nintendo has actually announced quite a few Directs at that time. However the chances have certainly decreased. There’s always Wednesday to announce one for Thursday. #NintendoDirect

Here’s another more recent example of a Nintendo Direct being announced at 10:00 am EST which continues to show that Nintendo definitely has had a habit of doing this before in the past. Once again don’t lose hope quite yet but I would lean towards Wednesday now. #NintendoDirect

One positive is that we aren’t completely left in the dark since we have Star Fox later this month, we also have Rhythm Heaven Groove on July 2nd and later in the month on July 23rd we have Splatoon Raiders. There’s also Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave but it needs a date badly!

We desperately need a Nintendo Direct for this month though since the last one was in last September which is too long to go without having one. We still need to know which 1st party games are coming out for the rest of this year.

One thing to keep in mind is that the only reason why there’s a chance of a Nintendo Direct happening this week is because of Nate the Hate along with other leakers however we should always take them as not being guaranteed to happen since people can be wrong sometimes.
