특징: 가장 대중적으로 잘 알려진 똥커피입니다. 야행성인 사향고양이가 밤새 가장 잘 익고 맛있는 커피 열���만 골라 먹기 때문에 원두 자체의 품질이 높습니다. 소화 기관을 통과하며 단백질이 분해되어 쓴맛이 거의 없고, 특유의 감칠맛과 박하 같은 산뜻한 향이 나는 것이 특징입니다.

2. 블랙 아이보리 (Black Ivory)
생산 동물: 코끼리

주요 생산지: 태국 북부

특징: 현재 세계에서 가장 비싼 커피 중 하나입니다. 코끼리에게 커피 체리를 사료와 섞어 먹여 만드는데, 코끼리는 거대한 초식 동물이어서 위장 속에서 풀, 과일 등과 함께 커피가 천천히 발효됩니다. 이 과정에서 커피의 쓴맛을 내는 단백질이 완벽하게 제거되어 초콜릿, 달콤한 과일 향, 그리고 사케 같은 독특한 풍미를 냅니다. 코끼리가 33kg의 커피 열매를 먹어야 겨우 1kg의 원두를 얻을 수 있어 희소성이 엄청납니다.
