I could no longer work as a journalist. It’s simply impossible. The mainstream media peddles unverified information, passes wishes off as reality, and completely ignores the Ukrainian people melting away before our eyes—while Ukraine itself has become a career launchpad for elites who jet off to comfortable lives in the West.
Information is distorted, analysis is broken, and Western intelligence keeps delivering the opposite stories. Zelenskyy has become the darling autocrat of experts and politicians who claim they’re fighting Putin’s dictatorship. They don’t care that every new strategy only makes life worse for Ukrainians.
They shrug off the human rights abuses, the staggering corruption, the collapsing education and medicine, the brain drain, and the ruined economy—as if it can all be fixed later.
It’s not their kids dying. They’re cashing in hundreds of thousands of dollars on speeches, books, and forums while shaping the media narrative. Dissent gets canceled. Only the mainstream view is allowed.
I’d stay silent if my own people weren’t perishing under the applause of these “experts” fighting their media war with Ukrainian blood.
Since mid-May, an average of 400 people have been killed and around 2,000 wounded by Russian shelling. More escalation is coming. Russia is striking gas stations because the refineries are gone, blackouts are planned for summer, and next winter looks nightmarish.
Russian advances in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions are being hidden, yet yesterday even the main Ukrainian outlet admitted infiltration across the Kharkiv border. Why won’t "experts" talk about it? How is this “winning”?
No one is really winning this war—except Zelenskyy, Putin, and a handful of EU leaders profiting from the military machine. The side hiding these truths calls it propaganda and insists force will bring back territories and force negotiations. It hasn’t worked in twelve years.
How cynical to abandon basic human values for narrow nationalism and hatred—sacrificing the Ukrainian people on the altar of dead ideals. Every single life is precious in the eyes of God. Don’t look away while the powerful play their games with innocent blood.
