[Viettle @Viettles]

What if the same function could tell you its frequencies, growth patterns, and hidden structure, simply by changing how you look at it?

That is the power of integral transforms. Fourier breaks a signal into frequencies, Laplace reveals growth and decay, and wavelets show how frequencies change over time. Each uses a different mathematical kernel to extract a different kind of information.

The function stays the same. The structure you can see depends on the transform.

The 2026 Tesla Roadster concept takes the idea of a fast car a step further: what if it could use rocket physics, too?

Electric motors drive the wheels, underfloor fans could press the car against the road, and proposed cold gas thrusters would push it forward by firing compressed gas backward.

The fascinating part is that these are three different ways of using physics to chase the same goal: acceleration. The real test is whether the engineering can deliver what the concept promises.

🚨 “Doctor… even water won’t go down.”

A 68-year-old man presents with progressive difficulty swallowing—initially solids, now liquids—and a 12-kg weight loss over three months.

Endoscopy reveals an obstructing esophageal malignancy. Staging confirms advanced, unresectable disease. He struggles to swallow his own saliva.

The team plans the procedure shown in the image.

❓ What is this procedure, and what is its main therapeutic goal?
