@CraigHelfgott@PutOnForJersey Why would he and duff want to stay? They balled out here and were rewarded with mediocre seasons and one of the worst defenses I’ve ever seen… they can go elsewhere and not only get paid, but improve their draft stock and actually have a chance to compete for something
@On3Richie@DavidESearles Makes sense, why would they want to stay… more money elsewhere, a chance to actually compete, and better coaching/improved draft stock… zero reason to be a part of this shot program
@puckplaysLLC@JoeH0518@StevePoliti Why would they? It’s a mediocre, .500 program that never wins the big game/pulls a big upset … what’s there to get excited/donate about?
@mikeleeeeon Can’t believe there’s still Greg defenders after watching 7 weeks of this team… people actually watch these games and think it’s just a talent issue?😭
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily They went to Indiana, were coached up, and got better… because cignetti is a good coach. Most of their roster is 3 stars… 3 stars like kaj sanders and others come to Rutgers and get worse
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily Right… Oregon’s players are also much better than Indiana’s, but that didn’t matter… that’s my point
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily Nuts, just nuts. An elite coach would have had his players somewhat ready to compete, even with the talent deficit. Rutgers looked like they didn’t practice all week… Oregon players running wide open down field https://t.co/9lZWMB9GZW.
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily Rutgers consistently finds ways to lose in those games, which is a terrible quality in a team and a reflection of the coaching staff. Not talking about Oregon, OSU… but even if you gave Greg the same/better roster as Oregon, Dan Lanning would coach circles around him
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily And why shouldn’t we get mad about Iowa and Minnesota? You’re right they’re toss ups, toss ups that you NEED to win to be at all respectable in the big 10… especially if you’re not going to show up in any way, shape or form against the big dogs.
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily They are not far more talented, these are the roster rankings in the big 10… where Iowa, Minnesota, and Rutgers are all very similar. Ranked 18th(last) on this list is Indiana… why are they able to shut down Oregon on the road while Rutgers looks like a middle school defense?
@LifeOfBryan56 @kodyzyns420 @mikeleeeeon @CFBTalkDaily The inability to make adjustments in game is clear when week after week they lead early in games, then implode in the third quarter. Outscored 66-13 in third quarters this year against fbs teams, that’s clearly getting out coached by others who are adjusting in game
