It's unfortunate that everything was basically "decided" months before I could voice my vote

@InnerVision2020 @FearedBuck DEI is just a convenient word they use to say, "I experience cognitive dissonance when I'm confronted with a person who relatively succeeds that doesn't look like the people I grew up thinking could be successful. Now, I'm going to make this uncomfortable feeling their problem"

@RobinSMessing @LuxFella I do data migration similar to this and at Elon's pace... It's impossible. Understanding the core principles behind the software takes months to years to replicate it in more modern languages...let alone the time it'd take to know it well enough to accurately spot fraud

@LuxFella Just want to add that this is also really important for when there actually is fraud or if folks need to make any kind of court appeal. Trying to "depulicate" all the records actually makes people more susceptible to fraud because that means there's no history to prove you're you

@jessalanfields @unusual_whales We need an overhaul of regulations, departments, and KPIs that can accurately measure productivity against costs. These issues transcend both "DEI" and "the swamp"

@jessalanfields @unusual_whales DEI isn't why government work is expensive, and tbh it is most likely 1% of the cost at most. While merit is good, DEI doesn't intrinsically take away from productivity anymore than the traditional nepotism aka "the swamp"

Everyone was sloppy and just trying to get it done in time until the DI said, "Your trousers will get in the way." Took a little longer at first, but suddenly, everyone got the memo when folks started tripping and connected the dots

@DanAdvantage @unusual_whales 5 pt2. That said most of GenZ's financial issues are tied to things society has deemed/made necessary. Phones, cars, internet, housing, education, healthcare. By generation, genZ on avg spends the least percentage of their income on truly frivolous purchases... so fix the economy

4. Plenty of folks doing this in every age bracket. Check Caleb Hammer if you don't believe me
5. There is excess consumerism; however, society promotes this onto everyone

@tutueme @unusual_whales Because "I said so" isn't a good reason and will decrease the morale of any troops with avg intelligence and above if the order given seems like a bad decision. A leader is supposed to give their subordinate purpose. If they can't, then they've failed as a leader

@tutueme @unusual_whales Went to Parris Island and did a summer at a naval base (as a civilian in ROTC programs). Understanding why orders are made is paramount if you want a great platoon/brigade/corp/etc.

Every member should understand why an order is given out to boost the groups morale
