Three things that will take your videos to the next level:
-Lighting
-Angles
-Color
I nailed the angles for the most part, but my coloring and lighting techniques definitely need some work.
Also, filming during a workout probably didn't make things any easier. 😅
I was literally sitting at my desk with an Xbox controller in my hand as I read this.
I was going to game for a few hours, but now I'm fired up.
Gonna attack this script I've been avoiding instead.
Thanks, Andrew!
Before August, I had nothing. Now – I’m working with two clients.
And I’ve decided to re-invest 95% of the money I get paid back into growing my business.
So far, that’s meant:
- Masterminds
- Coaching
- Consulting
And, I’ve gotten a TON of use and knowledge from that.
But now, I’m adding three key things to really start moving my business forward:
1. Software needed to get more clients (lead scraper tools)
2. Software needed to operate by business (Slack, Loom, etc.)
3. Outsourcing for specific tasks (appt. setters, etc)
Time to start levelling up.
Everything is subject to entropy.
Everything.
Your body, mind, and soul.
If you're not making progress on a daily basis disorder will worm its way into your life.
You can either play the victim for the rest of your life or become the hero of your story.
Life will knock you down no matter what path you choose.
Whether you stay down and take the beating or rise to your feet swinging is the ultimate choice.
The periods of life that bring the most growth are the ones where you do the opposite of everyone else.
You stay in when they go out. You decline almost every opportunity. You focus on your vision.
It isn’t forced. You just realize you don’t want to end up like the rest.
@JeffYTmarketing Hmm, reminds me of something @garyvee said:
"Document, don't create."
Thanks for the advice Jeff, I gotta start bringing people along for the journey and stop expecting them to just show up for the final product!
@theandrewwarner What program do you use to edit your short-form content?
Recently I've been using CapCut on my desktop, and then color grading or adding any final touches in Davinci.
@theandrewwarner Because even if you buy that fancy camera, once it's in your hands you realize it doesn't level up any of the skills necessary to tell a compelling story.
You'll be far more disappointed then you would be if you just started recording on your phone.
