A lot of focus on XIV’s community—the behavior of the player base is immaterial.

XIV is almost devoid of meaningful gameplay for its roughly 300-hour campaign. It is closer to a visual novel than an MMO.

There are better choices for a newcomer to the genre—GW2, OSRS, etc.

If your complaint was being unable to gapclose titan to avoid dying to being hit by landslide then you would at least have some argument on it being ping diff
