@SynthPotato The only positive, tangible thing Xbox has done in recent months is add their disc to digital program. The rest is nothing but literal PR stunts that people think are somehow “big wins”. Steam is the only true pro consumer platform out of the big 3 console platforms.
@SynthPotato You guys should be a study on the power that marketing has on human psychology. Xbox and PS have gutted many of their major studios, Xbox doesn’t have true exclusives anymore (and probably never will), we’re getting excited over games that are probably a decade out…..
@medster101@IndependnTexan@Gho5tofspart31 “Corpo Cock”. Buddy without the hundreds of millions of dollars Xbox will throw at whatever ridiculous demands Kojima has, Physint will cease to exist. I miss when Kojima cared about creating his own characters, not using movie stars to fill roles.
@elprimopajon@SynthPotato Some isn’t enough to move the needle. Xbox has had much better exclusives than PS this generation, and it’s still getting outsold 5-1 in the US, and 15-1 in Europe. The answer is simple. All these “exclusive” are on PC day one.
@BeanBuggler@SynthPotato And for all we know, Physint is still in the concept/planning stages with no substantial game development ongoing. Good chance it won’t even be on current gen hardware.
@BeanBuggler@SynthPotato The Helix will most likely be over $1200 if current trends hold. Since it’s probably going to be a pc/console hybrid with a closed ecosystem, why get that over a PC if you’re already spending PC money? You’re paying PC prices without the benefits of an actual PC.
@massedonian Why do you care so much about a club you’re not even a part of? You do know most of the people you meet in STEM fields are ultra liberal/progressives right? Right wingers are also statistically much dumber than their left leaning counterparts. Take you for example.
@MisterSpace3 The equilibrium will be hit from AMD and NVIDIA eventually. Don’t forget that Sony and Microsoft are throwing billions for their next gen APU’s, and will demand devs to implement heavily optimized neural rendering tech into their games.
@MisterSpace3 And with AMD’s next gen APU’s having the full suite of neural rendering software and hardware, the Helix and PS6 will be the mainstream and by far the most accessible platforms for the tech itself. Photorealism is quite literally the ceiling for video game fidelity.
