Disappointment at Guindy Station today around 6:42 PM. Station announced a 10-min delay for the premium AC local to Chengalpattu, but completely ignored the delay of the normal local train to same. Why this class bias? Ordinary commuters' time matters too! @DrmChennai @GMSRailway

This sickle attack isn't isolated. Chennai Central-Arakkonam route has seen years of student fights, train stunts, random attacks. Police occasionally catch someone, warn them, then leave. This band-aid approach isn't working. We need real solutions. 1/10

Criminals often find desirable opportunities to commit crimes. These opportunities vary across time and space. I am starting this #thread to report one of the serious environmental crimes that criminals have found an opportunity to commit. In this case, late night hours and locations with little to no vehicle and human movement are the factors that give opportunities for environmental criminals to operate!

I recently came across sewer lorries discharging collected #sewage water from #Vandalur and its adjacent neighborhoods on the service road under Chennai's outer ring road bridge (discharge points are marked on the map). To gain more insights into the regulation of sewer lorries, I have started reading about the Septage Management Regulation and Operative Guidelines.

Based on documenting the evidence, I will update this thread on the offence and complaints to respective government stakeholders, including @DISTRICTCPT, @COPTBM, @MawsTamilNadu and @Tnpcbofficial. (1/n)
