2) Cociente Emocional (EQ)
3) Cociente Social (CS)
4) Cociente de Adversidad (AQ)

1. Coeficiente intelectual (CI): esta es la medida de su nivel de comprensión. Necesitas IQ para resolver matemáticas, memorizar cosas y recordar lecciones.

2. Cociente emocional (EQ): esta es la medida de su capacidad para mantener la paz con los demás, cumplir con el tiempo, ser responsable, ser honesto, respetar los límites, ser humilde, genuino y considerado.

3. Social Quotient (SQ): esta es la medida de tu capacidad para construir una red de amigos y mantenerla durante un largo período de tiempo.

Las personas que tienen un EQ y SQ más alto tienden a ir más lejos en la vida que aquellas con un coeficiente intelectual alto pero un EQ y SQ bajo. La mayoría de las escuelas sacan provecho de la mejora de los niveles de coeficiente intelectual, mientras que EQ y SQ se minimizan.

Un hombre de alto coeficiente intelectual puede terminar siendo empleado por un hombre de alto EQ y SQ aunque tenga un coeficiente intelectual promedio.

Tu EQ representa tu Carácter, mientras que tu SQ representa tu Carisma. Cede a los hábitos que mejorarán estas tres Q, especialmente tu EQ y SQ.

Ahora hay un cuarto, un nuevo paradigma:

4. El cociente de adversidad (AQ): la medida de su capacidad para atravesar una mala racha en la vida y salir de ella sin perder la cabeza.

Cuando se enfrenta a problemas, AQ determina quién se dará por vencido, quién abandonará a su familia y quién considerará el suicidio.

Padres, expongan a sus hijos a otras áreas de la vida además de las académicas. Deben adorar el trabajo manual (nunca usar el trabajo como forma de castigo), el Deporte y las Artes.

Desarrollar su IQ, así como su EQ, SQ y AQ. Deben convertirse en seres humanos multifacéticos capaces de hacer cosas independientemente de sus padres, maestros y entrenadores.

Finalmente, no prepares el camino para tus hijos. Prepara a tus hijos para el camino".
