@NewAsianWriting Even the biggest of companies do a recourse on errors, product recalls etc etc. I'm hoping NAW can simply address this one error which you do agree was an oversight.
@NewAsianWriting Yes, but twitter was for 'queries' as you rightly said. I did not have any query as such, because guidelines were very very detailed. After submission, i just came to twitter today to check the content of NWA, and that's when I saw these tweets about deadline.
@NewAsianWriting Providing recourse for a genuine error and situation, does not reduce the stature of any platform. It infact only makes it grander and more welcoming for people. It is more disappointing because I am pretty confident of the story and the content shared.
@NewAsianWriting Also at the time of submission, the guidelines did not mention that entries are now closed. I seriously urge you to look into this and provide a one time recourse. Not just for me, but anyone affected and has reached out.
@NewAsianWriting Errors can always, and that is just human. But a platform that mentions guidelines in great detail, should atleast try and re-look at providing a recourse for such an error. Not much to ask. The guideline said 30th, was submitted on 30th.
@NewAsianWriting Errors can happen at any place, and that is just human. But a platform that has mentioned guidelines in such great detail, should atleast try and re-look at this error at the situation and offer a one time recourse.
@NewAsianWriting Extremely disappointing that an esteemed platform like NAW,which has even mentioned submission guidelines to the minutest level like indents, spacing etc (which by the way are not even qualifying criteria as per another tweet),is ignoring a discussion on such a big guideline miss
@NewAsianWriting Would request you to have a look at the submission and decide. Assuming that I have time, I was polishing the story to share something that the judges would really like. Please Reconsider.
