I am personally dead against preventing photography inside the temple (baring Sanctum Sanctorum) & according to me it is the most stupidest thing the government can do!

In most world famous Churches, visited by millions all over the world, photography is prevented only during the time of service and in some restricted zones inside the Church!

Rest of the times and zones STILL photography is allowed WITHOUT flash or any Support Equipment.

Having said that, mobile phones are not allowed strictly in many temples in India for many years now.

Few examples:

Lingaraj temple – Bhubaneswar
Jaganath temple – Puri
Ramanathaswamy Temple – Rameswaram

Swaminarayan Akshardham – Delhi

Venkateswara Swamy Temple - Tirumala Tirupati
Shree Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple – Somnath
Mahakaleshwar Temple - Ujjain

When TN Govt does the same in some important temples in TN, there is a huge hue & cry about this, as if it is being done for the first time in the country.

Can't understand why this outrage only against TVK government!!!!!!!

@UpdatesChennai In the early 90s, before TASMAC, liquor sales were under private control. The major issue was the rampant sale of duplicate and spurious alcohol. You can even find references to these ‘duplicates’ in Vivek sir’s comedy scenes.

@crossbeatsind Purchased two Crossbeat devices (Dec 27 & Jan 27 orders). Within days, spatial audio failed and battery drained in 10 minutes. Gave service no use. Now in both units are right side ear device completely dead. Spent ₹8,000 on substandard products—very disappointing.
