The immigration system is broken for those who are trying to legally come to our country for a better way of life. It’s time to change this.
My legislation will be a win for all Americans as it will improve our inefficient immigration system which has contributed to illegal immigration over time.
Wow....when it comes to greencards they count each member of the family, but when it comes to issuing visas, only the primary applicant gets what is already a very limited benefit. This clearly shows that @POTUS, @SenateDems and @HouseDemocrats just care about businesses
@bhogleharsha Agree with the contests mentioned. However, for me biggest factor would be the fielding. Aus is a much better fielding side and can create immense pressure by saving runs particularly in the first 10 overs
Sometimes regional news media want to do a story on country cap issue but wants to speak to someone local from that particular state. Instead of trying to find them at the last minute, I would prefer to line up two people from the following states who are in #greencardbacklog and don't mind speaking to the media. Please reach out to me if that's you or someone you know.
Colorado
Nevada
California
Arizona
New Mexico
Oklahoma
Arkansas
Tennessee
A Washington D.C. man is on a year-long journey visiting all 50 states hoping to spark change over a law that he says discriminates against highly-skilled workers, like scientists and doctors, based on the country they were born in. https://t.co/JvjYNdrZ5y
Heard today about top Indian engineer in the US working on advanced semiconductor tech, been in the country for over 10 years but now being forced to move out because he hasn’t received a green card which created major family issues.
Great way to win the global tech wars!
Great question by @FrancoOrdonez at @NPR This admin did not say “ask congress” when it came to helping 20 other countries with work permits and advance paroles. It gives these people work permits within days of getting here. #stoptheh1bservitude
