Not sure where to get funding for City infrastructure? #CWE is at the @APWASoCal event in Bellflower today, and we're thrilled to give you some pointers! The meeting starts at 11:30 -- come say hello! #SilverSponsor#APWA
FACTS! LADWP has installed the world's largest earthquake resistant water pipe, a two-mile section of the Foothill Trunk Line which is a major water conveyance artery that crosses the San Fernando Valley fault line. #reliability#infrastructurematters
The #SalmonCannon has gone viral just over the past week, but this method of transporting fish dates back to 2011! #fishtube#fishpassage#salmon

This weekend, @metrolosangeles's Division 4 Permeable Concrete Pavement Pilot Project received @ASCE_MLAB's prestigious Outstanding Sustainable Engineering Project #award. #Congratulations to everyone involved with this impactful, trailblazing accomplishment!
#CWE staff finally got to see (from a safe distance, of course) Live Oak Dam's mother #blackbear wandering through our sampling site! There was no sign of her cub, though; it might have been old enough to venture off on its own.
#CWE was recently featured in @WaterWorld magazine for designing the region's first public-private partnership (P3) between @CulverCityGov and #Costco for stormwater and urban runoff capture.

#CWE is providing engineering #design for the drainage and stormwater quality components of this exciting design-build pedestrian #bridge project.

Dam crises similar to Oroville can hit closer to home than we think! #CWE staff can provide #ConstructionMaterialsTesting (concrete, rebar, gravel, and soil) in response to issues like these that increase local dams' risk categories. #PradoDam

#CWE celebrated #EarthMonth by joining our @FoLARtweets friends for a much-needed #trash cleanup at the #LARiver this weekend! Our favorite finds were car doors, a Christmas ornament, a light-up pineapple, a doorknob (with part of the door still attached), and a #wolfspider!
You can help Create a Better Tomorrow, Today by protesting against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault. CWE staff are proud to stand in solidarity with survivors today, as we do every day. #DenimDay
Southern California has been getting plenty of precipitation since the beginning of 2019. CWE has been conducting #waterqualitymonitoring at Mojave Forks Dam Outlet. Look at how much water we are getting this year compared to Spring 2018!
As of Sunday morning, the Department of Water Resources ramped up the #OrovilleDam's release of water from 14,8000 cubic feet per second (cfs) to 25,000 cfs to see how the spillway handles the bigger load. #OrovilleDamCrisis

#Nurdles are tiny plastic beads that are easy to transport, pour, and melt quickly and evenly. Spills on land can blow or wash into storm drains and make it out to our oceans. CWE has been working to find innovative ways to find these nurdles in Southern California’s waterways.
#CWE collected measurements for a storm drain at #SantaBarbara's Bohnett Park. We will be designing a storm drain diversion upstream of the discharge point for @SBCreeks, which will convey local drainage to a subsurface infiltration system in an effort to improve #waterquality.
A #perviousconcrete pavement test panel was poured for LA Metro last week. #CWE was there to review design intent and capture an awesome video of the process.
Sobering reports like these should remind us that enhancing and preserving the quality of our water sources isn't just an 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday job for stormwater firms. It's everyone's responsibility, every day. #CreateABetterTomorrowToday
