@merseyrail are you holding the last train at hooton towards Ellesmere Port to connect with the very late running 23:30 Chester to Hooton? Or will you provide taxis if we miss it as running 15 minutes late currently
@merseyrail If I were to tap out after midnight after boarding last train home this will still count as part of the daily cap having tapped in before midnight?
@IshaqAli156@merseyrail The train managers can, and do check tickets but canโt issue penalty fares, just advise that you may be liable to one. If they check tickets then they should have the equipment to check if a card has been tapped in
@merseyrail Just had ticket check on train. They have no way of checking contactless payments. Suggest could be liable for a penalty fare if revenue protection get on. This is shocking if thatโs the case.
@merseyrail Should of made it clear quite early on that contactless will not be valid too and from Chester. Going to, and already is, catching people out on one of the busiest routes on the network.
@Suffragent_ Still better than the Rome Metro or any train in Italy really. Same for Copenhagen. Covered inside and out. Not a fresh bit of paint left.
@KirstieMAllsopp Guess youโve never been to China or Japan then. This is the norm there . China especially. Usually without using headphones too in China. Restaurants/trains and anywhere the public are, are a symphony of tinny noise coming from phones and tablets.
@StagecoachMCSL@KierseyDaniel@Go_CheshireWest It is in the wrong stop, the timetables for Liverpool have been put up in Stop C instead of G. This photo is from Stand C, which is for 1/X1 to Chester
@merseyrail Need some wd40 on 23:27 Hooton to Ellesmere Port. Carriage 428015. Lots of squeaking between carriages. . Not a good look for a fairly new train
