@PurpleForTheWin Andy who are you talking about? The people you and I watched call out all of our misses at QB over the last 10 or 15 years.
Besides, we would be totally @$$es to hope they didn't work out.
@PurpleForTheWin If he is worth drafting at age 22 or 23 then he is still worth drafting at 25. If he makes a good starter at 25 or 26.
Baring an injury, he should give his team 10 to 12 years of good to great play. Hooker age doesn't scare. It's the Vikings scouting department that worries me.
@SKORNorth I think drafting for need, even a self indused need, never seem to work out. The Vikings got damn lucky the Eagles and everyone else past on Jefferson .
@SeifertESPN While he isn't the player, I would pick at 23. But if he is the Vikins pick I will pull for him to play at a pro bowl level until he is no longer on the roster. I'm a team first kind of a fan.
@JJDEMARAY For me, I find KOC & KAM to be ever bit the Bull Sh!t talkers that Spielman was.
My hope is that last years draft picks come back healthy and ready to roll. To me these guys are the key to this year's draft & the lack of picks.
@PurpleForTheWin Over the past 10 or 15 years, most of the Vikings' QB problems have been the
p!$$ poor drafting & coach of the OL. They finally hit on their 2 OT's. But the rest of the OL, has been average on their good days.
@jzulgad Judd, we get it. You Sir are a Kirk hater & without him, you have nothing to talk about.Nothing.But it's ok. You Sir are lots of fun to the rest of us with your Kirk rants. I'm fine with moving on from Kirk. But part of me hope they resign him just to hear you rants.๐๐คฃ
@PurpleForTheWin IMHO, The Vikings' biggest QB problem has been the p!$$ poor drafting and coaching of the IOL. Fix that & Nick Mullens could look like a winner. Speaking of the OL, the Vikings final got it right with the drafting of their OT'S.
@PurpleForTheWin I would be upset ๐ก if they traded the whole farm for the next 3 years for one player. The 49ers have shown that an offense designed around most any QB, if kept clean, can make enough plays to help a team win games.
@sosarick At 23 I'll back whoever they pick. But if their pick happens to be a big burley NT who could play all 3 downs as a run stuffer/pass rusher, someone who keeps the LBers clean, I would be more than a little happy.
@WillRagatz If everyone's worry over only having 5 draft picks in 2023 I truly do not believe they are.
If what I have read is true its going to cost 3 1st+ to go from 23 to 3.
@vikingterritory The way the draft went for Kwesi last year, he might want to stick and pick.
Hopefully, this year, his picks can stay healthy and contribute in 2023. We'll thats my hope.
