I mean they pretty much directly took several of the bosses from fromsoft games and changed them up a bit. That melania shot was basically one to one but instead of scarlet rot it was what looked like doves. I certainly raised an eyebrow. I can understand the gamosphere's reaction even though per usual it's excessive. It's just really apparent to me how much the gaming world or those plugged into gaming find distate for mihoyo/gacha. They're already making jokes about what they'll monetize in the game. So, mihoyo or any gacha company definitely has to work hard to prove themselves to the gamers, I guess. It looks cool. I'll definitely try it. We need more monster hunter like. So long as it's a genuinely premium buy to own game with updates etc I think people will get over it. My reaction was more shock seeing a non anime game come from mihoyo! Crazy!
