Few more takeaways from tonight - Senior looked excellent at left centre back, Maxwell superb at left wing back and it was great to see Tommy Rowe playing further forward and making an impact. Like I said the other day, 3 at the back with wing backs looks the play for us. #DRFC

The ex AC Milan right back is another who never made an appearance for Everton, he mainly featured for the under 21’s after signing from Espanyol.

He made a loan move to Rovers in 2015 but only managed 5 appearances as injury cut his spell short.

A Rolls Royce for Donny in midfield during Rovers’ stint as a Championship club. He made over 100 league appearances in a successful spell for #DRFC.

He signed for Everton in 1997 for £1.5m and made 40 Premier League appearances for the club. #EFC

CONOR GRANT

He didn’t make a league appearance for the Toffees but joined Rovers on loan in 2015, and then again for a second loan spell in 2017. Conor made 40 league appearances for Donny over two spells.
