In MP's Sagar, a dalit girl, who lodged a molestation case against four strong men of the village, paid a heavy price for it.

Her brother and uncle were beaten to death. Her mother was disrobed in public and the complaint girl died today in an alleged mishap today.

According to police, in August 2023, a Dalit youth was thrashed to death in MP's Sagar by a mass of individuals who were threatening the family to withdraw the molestation case filed by her sister four years back.

The victim’s mother was disrobed when she tried to protect her son.

When the issue grabbed the national headlines and Opposition leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge and Digvijay Singh demanded strict action against the accused, police booked nine men under SC/ST act and were sent to jail.

When they were in prison, the family of the accused were allegedly pressuring the victim to settle the case outside the court.

Nine months later, the eyewitness Rajendra Ahirwar, was beaten to death when an alleged settlement meeting went wrong on May 25, 2024.

That's not the end of the story.

On Sunday May 26th, 2024, when the victim girl was returning home with the dead body of his uncle, she died in a mysterious mishap, said Sagar police.

The complaint, her brother, her uncle died. And her mother was disrobed for lodging molestation case against strong men.

It's noteworthy that the police are doing everything to uphold justice.
