Siya Goyal is a soulless psycho.
All attempts to intellectualise her crime, infantilise her as ‘young’ or paint her as a trapped victim are a cop-out.
No amount of context justifies what she did.
@Bihar_se_hai I too want to see vaibhav in the team but not at the cost of Sanju or even Abhishek. They can be rested for one or two matches to give him the chance but not the way u are suggesting.
@Bihar_se_hai Abe bsdk , I m a Bihar myself but don't do this chutiyapa, sanju played 3 back to back match winning innings in that world cup infact we won the world cup bcs of him. Even if he doesn't perform for next one year still he should be in the team. Don't do this nonsense.
@coolfunnytshirt Don't try to justify which is unjustifiable. Whatever examples he's giving are recent (later ancient or mediaeval) & that too of elite class of society.
Our big chunk of history comes from Early Vedic & Later Vedic period too.
This is an appreciation post for Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary ji.
IAF officer Shubham Kumar was martyred along with 4 others in Assam Plane crash.
Bihar govt gave ₹21 Lakhs ex-gratia to his secretly wedded wife Shreya Rai who took the cheque & left even before shraadh.
Parents of late Shubham lost everything.
Now, Bihar Sainik Kalyan Board provided ₹1.5 Crores ex-gratia to the parents of late Shubham.
Bihar Sainik Kalyan Board comes under the Home Ministry of Bihar and @samrat4bjp is heading the ministry.
A brilliant article published in The Hindu today about civil services reforms.
In this article, you will learn about the various committees that have been formed in the past to evaluate the civil services recruitment process.
Also, you will learn about the transparency that UPSC has brought in 2026 by releasing the answers to you.
But the unpredictable nature of the question paper this year has made students a little worried about the exam.
If you were in the place of the writer, what changes would you suggest to the UPSC that would make it more transparent and create a level playing field for everyone?
@khurpenchh She is MP from my constituency & everyone knew that she won't do anything after winning but still people voted for her for 3 reasons - 1st caste , 2nd she is also married in Kunjwa village (in my area), so the emotional game of Bahu & Bhabhi worked & 3rd people got bored of RKY
The absolute horror of the Siya-Ketan incident lies in the sickening asymmetry between them: Ketan’s pure, almost childlike innocence paired against Siya’s hollow, predatory sociopathy.
Four days before he died, Siya had already tried to murder him by shoving him off a cliff. Ketan survived only because a stray tree branch broke his fall. But he was so hopelessly, blindly in love that he swallowed her absurd lie whole, she claimed she saw a snake and panicked, pushing him away to "protect" him.
Instead of feeling suspicion, Ketan felt profound gratitude. He hugged his near-executioner, thanked her for saving his life, and proudly recounted the story to his mother and relatives. The entire family praised Siya as a hero.
To possess even a shred of humanity means you would be crushed by guilt after such an act. Watching a completely innocent person, someone whose only crime was loving you blindly, thank you for attempting to end his life should break a normal human psyche.
But Siya is a different breed of monster. Looking at Ketan’s grateful smile, she didn't feel remorse; she felt irritation. Her only regret was her own poor execution. She didn't see a human being; she saw unfinished business. Four days later, she lured him right back to the edge of that same cliff. This time, she brought reinforcements, her boyfriend. Together, they finished what she had started. Imagine the horror and betrayal Ketan would have faced in last few seconds of his life!
Siya has forfeited her right to exist in a civilized society. Yet, under our flawed justice system, she will likely walk free in ten to fourteen years. She will go on to build a comfortable, quiet life with her accomplice or some new, unsuspecting victim, completely unburdened by an ounce of remorse, carrying the secret of Ketan's final, terrified moments like a casual memory.
@Bihar_se_hai The biggest curse for we Biharis is that even keeping BJP in power for almost 2 decades our situation didn't change much & that bcs of these jaahil & incompetent politician.
BJP didn't find a single charismatic & competent leader even after being in power for decades.
#ExpressInvestigation 🚨 🔍
Who is really benefiting from the EWS quota?
Our journalist Shyamlal Yadav @RTIExpress looked into the 104 candidates selected under the Economically Weaker Sections quota in the 2025 UPSC Civil Services Examination. What he found raises important questions

MNC jobs, elite coaching, private schools – yet on UPSC ‘poor’ list

Key findings of the Indian Express Investigation:
The investigation examined all 104 candidates selected under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota in the 2025 UPSC Civil Services Examination and found a significant mismatch between the quota’s intended beneficiaries and the backgrounds of many successful candidates.
The other side of the story
The investigation also found many candidates who clearly fit the intended spirit of the EWS quota, including:
Children of security guards, bus conductors, railway porters, labourers, and unemployed parents.
Students from rural backgrounds and government institutions such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
Candidates from farming families, with at least 29 candidates reporting farmer parents.
What the investigation found
1. Extensive use of expensive coaching
At least 84 of the 104 EWS-selected candidates had received formal UPSC coaching.
67 candidates attended prominent coaching institutes such as Vajiram & Ravi, Vajirao & Reddy, and Drishti IAS, where annual fees can run into lakhs of rupees.
2. Large share from private-school backgrounds
At least 46 candidates studied in private schools, including schools in NCR and state capitals with annual fees ranging from roughly ₹45,000 to ₹1.5 lakh.
3. Business-family representation
Parents of at least 28 candidates were engaged in businesses ranging from retail shops and trading ventures to manufacturing and fabrication enterprises.
4. Corporate-sector experience
At least 10 candidates had worked in private companies, including multinational firms, before preparing for the UPSC examination.
5. Elite higher-education backgrounds
At least 14 candidates were IIT graduates or postgraduates.
At least 3 came from NITs.
At least 27 studied at Delhi University, and 3 at JNU.
The headline finding
While the EWS quota was created to support economically disadvantaged candidates from the general category, a substantial number of those selected appeared to come from relatively privileged educational and social backgrounds. The report argues that the current eligibility framework—primarily based on an income threshold of ₹8 lakh and asset criteria—may not adequately capture actual economic disadvantage.
The 1978 Ranga-Billa case involved the brutal kidnapping and murder of teenage siblings Geeta and Sanjay Chopra in Delhi by career criminals Kuljeet Singh (Ranga) and Jasbir Singh (Billa).
The horrific crime shocked the nation, leading to a massive manhunt and the swift conviction of both killers, who were ultimately hanged in 1982.
The investigation was led by Inspector VP Gupta of the Delhi Police, with SI Ram Chander serving on the team. A bystander, who had tried to save the children, and later helped the police identify the killers by providing their descriptions was Babulal. The journalist who covered the case was Prabha Dutt.
Amazon Prime's series Raakh, which is based on this incident, replaces Inspector VP Gupta with SI Jayprakash Jatav, explicitly portrayed as a Dalit officer navigating institutional bias. Furthermore, SI Ram Chander is replaced by SI Javed Murtaza, Babulal by Saleem, and Prabha Dutt by Nisar, while a lazy hawaldar character named Mishra has been added to the narrative.
This isn't creative liberty. Creative liberty is meant to enhance a story, not distort historical facts to fit a specific ideological agenda. Another stark reminder of how easily history can be rewritten in plain sight under the convenient guise of creative freedom.
