Some milestones are best experienced from behind the wheel.
I recently took one of our electric 3-wheelers for a spin in Hyderabad as Mahindra Last Mile Mobility marked 400,000 vehicles on the road.
It was hugely energizing to converse with the team and witness first-hand the pride & energy behind this achievement.
What I realised was that the real ‘renewable energy’ fueling our vehicles is their hunger to succeed…!
Congratulations to Suman and the entire team. A milestone worth celebrating and a journey worth watching.
This is a company incubated at Mahindra University’s AIC (Atal Incubation Centre) e-hub.
I met the founders a while ago & also made a personal seed (pun intended!) investment…
What they’re doing is a smart application of known tech.
But I have started regularly meeting young founders who are building frontier-tech capabilities, across sectors.
In fact, I posted recently about how some of India’s sharpest defence-tech is now coming out of startups, not legacy players.
Something’s converging: a stronger economy, more VC money chasing ideas, a deepening startup ecosystem, & a new generation of talented students coming out of local universities.
Put together, that’s a real wave.
So I think companies won’t now choose between in-house R&D and outside innovation; they’ll do both, deliberately.
Startups, Universities, Big company ecosystem access.
When you get that triangle working well, you get companies that are indigenous in origin but globally competitive.
More large companies should be hopping on this train. It’s already moving.
Wooooooo hooooo…
It’s been a loooong wait for the Top of the Podium.
No better place to get it than in Monaco….
Congratulations Nyck, Fred and Team @MahindraRacing
@anandmahindra There is literally nothing that M&M is not into....truly a giant conglomerate that has it's roots in the past,it's feet in the present and it's eyes set on the future!
Azim Premji was walking deep in a forest when a rock on which he rested slipped and he fell into a hidden ditch, injured and unable to get out.
His dog ran several kilometres back, tugged the driver’s trouser with urgency, and refused to move until he followed. The dog led him, and later the villagers, back to the exact place where Premji lay injured.
In a world full of fragile relationships, a dog’s devotion is still absolute.
I can't help but notice in angst, why isn't there any fastag on that i20 and how is it that pollution was checked by a petrol pump without checking the RC and other documents of the car? @ShivAroor
@ShivAroor The term "Surgical Strike" just got a new meaning. Shameful that in more cases than not in our history a particular religion is responsible for disharmony and violence.
