The London-based Pakistani Islamist preacher and historian Adnan Rashid has sent a new message to local Christians: “We will rule, you pay jizya (Islamic tax) and you will have peace.”

His clip, published under the title “Christians Under Sharia: Peace or Persecution?”, presents the jizya system as evidence that Christians could live peacefully under historical Muslim governments.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Warsaw remains in constant contact with CIA leadership and therefore was not surprised by Ratcliffe’s visit or the broader actions surrounding it.
