@joshscorcher If it counts, I'd say Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Changing Team Aqua/Magma's plans to create an artificial Mega Stone is an infinitely more understandable and less stupid plan than just yeeting rocket fuel into a volcano and expecting it to work.

@SnivyPokemon21 What else could they have even done? The strongest characters came back, everyone gave it their best shot, the previous gimmicks all showed up to make sure everyone was fighting on all cylinders… Sounds like the whole package to me.
