@Soham7061P@Sentinels jerrwin is definitely one of the best opers in amer but he just has so little impact without it. he struggled a ton on attack and most defensive rounds where he didn’t have one. maybe he’s just not being set up in a way that he’s comfortable with but it’s a big problem for sen.
@sapphire_fps@100T_VAL the match was not close. there was one close map and 2 that weren’t even close. 2 is all you need. that’s what destroying is. doesn’t matter what the first map looks like when they only get 13 in the next 2 maps combined.
@pepethepedro@9M_I_C_H_A_E_L@Srathens1 not even close to RBHG. Offseason vs midseason. All (and only) tier 1 VCT partnered teams compete in qualifiers vs invitational. 16 team tournament where all teams must make it through groups with actual BO3s. the only part you can possibly call mickey mouse is no losers bracket
@rizkyrief123@100T_VAL it’s rng, do it enough times and it’ll work. there are just so few players that even shoot while jumping like this that you only ever see it work out for asuna even though he goes for it probably 30 times a game and it works like once a month.
@saigron5@goplust6@Siddhar61519692@statsmeisterVLR luckier teams don’t have to face as many strong opponents. the better team doesn’t win 10/10 times vs the worse team. single elim makes it less likely that the best team wins the whole thing. still need to be a good team to win, but dont necessarily have to be the best with luck.
@saigron5@goplust6@Siddhar61519692@statsmeisterVLR it’s much easier to win than masters. single elimination increases the chance that luckier teams do better, random draw increases the chance that luckier teams do better, first event of franchising means many rosters got resuffled like crazy, no qualifier to develop as a team.
@crocs__0@VCTatualizado neither series was super close and prime cauanzin still couldn’t take down eg or prx. unlikely that fnatic wins the tourney even if you flip one of the games vs loud.
@TcBocchi@bfigi_44@100T_VAL I mean he used to be good and was still one of their more experienced players. the sen fans were all glazing him when people have been shit talking him this year so I figured they were sad to lose him.
@jjyyyccb @mayadotexe I can understand not being a fan of aspas but how can you not like him at all? he’s undeniably one of the best players valorant has ever seen and despite that fact is incredibly humble. someone like demon1 I can understand disliking.
@L0CKEval@RyanG2B i’d argue those people are just not well informed. the 11.08 patch nuked the meta and one of their players retired. keiko is a great player but he’s clearly a short term downgrade. valorants also just a tough game to stay on top. no champs winner has done it yet.
@NiSMO_VAL they had 2 weeks of prep time beforehand, and still only ended up playing 5 matches with 18 maps total while teams TL played 8 matches with 22 maps . It is a bit rough for sure but it’s not drastically worse than what some other teams had to do.
