Mr & Mrs Hucks are the heroes of Minety Village Hall in Wiltshire.
They held a social for their Golden Wedding and raised £22 towards the building fund.
The hall was opened in 1930 after 12 years of effort.

Churt Village Hall in SW Surrey. Built 1928 - funded by Frank Mason, prominent businessman. D. Lloyd George was a Trustee. During WW2 the village hall was actively used by locally-based service personnel, primarily the Canadians. Regular social and welfare events for the troops.
