@nickhasthoughts Cool data work seems to have gone into making this, and the airport noise seems to be most informed by actual noise data. Methodology here: https://t.co/udjAcpIehE
@daveweigel No consecutive terms allowed in Peru, so it'll have to be someone else she narrowly loses to. Unlikely Castillo make it to the end of this term though
@FairweatherPhD Similar thing is happening in LA's South Bay, and they're loosening residential requirements. Being CA, sounds like it's less about wealthy moving in, more folks growing old and never selling, but hard to see this problem going away soon unless a ton of new housing gets built.
Something to be written, if it hasn't already, about how the whole US home renovation culture, which now spans like 80 TV shows, serves to convince homeowners that their labor adds value to their house rather than it being mostly a function of the value of the land.
@causalinf Not that the animals per se are strange, but the amount of geese, turkeys, and rabbits wandering around Boston streets was a nice surprise. The rats... not so much.
@bhrenton Would be really interested to see this kind of data for a random sample of schools that started classes, otherwise the sample seems very biased. Must be tough to collect all this data though, impressed!
Well, it finally happened. This #ICE International #StudentBan got me back into the โorganizing effective lobbying action via twitterโ game.

@karinfischer Also does this mean international students at "hybrid" schools currently abroad need to come back despite schools' arrangements? What if they don't, do they lose F visa status?
