#Portugal #WTA2023 #WTA #WorldTravelAwards #Awards 🇵🇹🏆 Portugal has been voted the “Best Tourist Destination in Europe” for the sixth time in the World Travel Awards 2023, also known as the Oscars of Tourism. ☀️

This year’s World Travel Awards were held in the Black Sea resort in Batumi, Georgia. The event was founded in 1993, with the awards presented annually by an international jury of hospitality experts and peers. 🏖️

Awards also went to #Porto, which won ‘Europe’s Leading City Break Destination 2023’, while #Lisbon 🌉 won the award for ‘Europe’s Leading City Destination 2023’ and ‘Europe’s Leading Cruise Port 2023’. The #Algarve won the ‘Europe’s Leading Beach Destination’. #Madeira also made it onto the winner’s podium after picking up ‘Europe’s Leading Island Destination’. 🛫

@SimonCalder What you mention about fully vaccinated travellers still needing to take a test to go to Portugal is not what is now indicated on the UK government/fco website. It says that if you have the EU digital covid pass or presumably our NHS equivalent then you do not need to test?
