No. Surprise, surprise, he was a YOUTH PASTOR. For a church. In Texas.

But was he the only pastor in America arrested recently for this charge? No. Not even close.

There have been two more cases. In just the last week alone. In the SAME COUNTY.

I'm sure now Greg Abbott, Ron DeSantis and every other Republican will completely shift their focus to banning right-wing Christians from going anywhere near kids.

Because clearly they should leave those of us in the LGBT+ community alone.

1. No phone in bedroom. Lessens distractions, makes you get out of bed.

2. Schedule everything. This creates time management skills and accurate estimates/timelines.

3. I don’t drink caffeine. I don’t want a crutch for sleep, this is what works for me.

4. Go to the gym every morning you can. Jumpstart your day. Bonus: go to a gym you actually enjoy. It’s worth the $$

5. Have a skincare routine — it can be simple, it can be complex — just do it morning/night.

6. Read one chapter of a book every night.

7. Call at least one friend a day and chat with them.

8. More personal — but have friends who don’t know what you do/can’t benefit from your career in any way. Have those “just because” friends.

9. Don’t believe everything, or most things, your brain tells you. Your brain does what it does. Not all of those thoughts are real. The Unteathered Soul by Michael Singer is a great book to help with this.

10. Wait for the question. Don’t give people unsolicited advice or try to fix their feelings. They are capable of helping themselves, let them.
