@MATTPOUNDER7@DrPopCultureUSA What is wrong with the inks in this panel? There are no glaring omissions, the people and background, especially the curtains, were inked in detail. Great shadowing in the garments...
@KelligrewM56731 At $30/page to be split between the artists, you bet he said Nah...more likely, though, background clutter doesn't stand out on a spinner rack.
@michaelstradford545 Dan McFan wrote to him in 2015: To DENYS COWAN (Who said Colletta rejected him saying "Marvel already has a black inker.) From Denys: Hey Dan, Why do you need to verify this info? Vinnie's been gone a long time....
@michaelstradford545 I heard this tale years ago and wrote to Denys Cowan to inquire whether he said it. Crickets. Vinnie did not have a racist bone in his body + he never smoked cigars. Too bad you turned comments off because that would have been the appropriate place to respond
@ItsEvieille @Flareono1 @Saulman11835779 Yeeeaah, time. That's a killer. There's never enough of it. You are just a fan. If you asked any publisher or editor-in-chief which artist or inker was the most indispensable...
@comics_jeff I see nice inking touches in all of the surfaces, walls, window, etc. Where do you see an ink line that is out of place? I love Giacoia but if it Frankie was tasked to ink all of the books that Vinnie was given you would have received tons of reprint issues throughout the years.
