I frequent r/QuickBooks and always get a little excited when I see the looking for replacement or complaining posts
I think more people should build in this space, why not have an alternative?

If you use QuickBooks or Wave for invoicing and are tired of their 1% no max cap ACH fees, I’d love if you tried our software out. We have lower fees so you’d save money with us. I’d be happy to give you a discount code on our $25/mo basic plan and you’d always have a direct line to me.
#founder twitter I’ve noticed on days when I do customer work/speak with a customer, I feel so much more energized than days without. What says everyone else? Is there anything anyone does about this? I’m thankful I have customers, users, revenue, ..
Super curious! Mainly #NYC or #SF founders, but folks everywhere feel free. What’s the best ROI for early customers? And why? So non ad running. IRL Events, Reddit threads, cold email, what else?
I think for me maybe Reddit threads or cold emails? But all is particularly a grind right now.. we build #bookkeeping software!
Check out my substack article on the difference of accounting vs. bookkeeping. It’s a 1 minute read

@NatalieLizBoll Thanks @NatalieLizBoll ! Agreed. Also SMB B2B products/businesses too. Maybe all startups (:
But totally agreed on the not just optimizing a deck and yes to growing the NYC circle! Are you based in NYC?
Building out that NYC startup founder community, let’s goo, we just met at a coffee shop in midtown. DM either of us if you’re in the city and want to chat, cowork, etc
I’m trying to meet with founders in the NYC space and learn from you.
I met with @VinceLiuSphere and he taught me about what bookkeeping is and the insights you get from doing it early on as a startup.
DM me if you’re in the NYC area and have something to teach me!
For the businesses, startups, folks out there needing cybersecurity, pen tests, SOC II, .. checkout and follow @appsecinsights. Founders in NYC are super smart. Can save you money and help you out. They do $1 Pen tests and post about cybersec on their feed/substack
What is bookkeeping? The system of work that categorizes financial transactions and follows accounting. What is accounting - the translation of those records to produce decision making info (either IRS tax following or GAAP financial reporting needs). Substack article incoming
Anyone ever think doing business 20-30 years ago was easier? My father runs a company in Asia and I imagine it’s a lot of in face, slow talks, etc. Now with how digital the world is, shorter attention spans, distractions etc. Is doing business harder? That said, with AI, building/doing business could be easier too? Pros/cons, #randomthought
