USE YOUR SWORD
Anchor Scriptures:
1 Kings 3:24-25
Luke 18:1 KJV
Where you are standing or sitting determines what you see. So it is important believers know where they’re are sitting and standing because it creates a different view of anything they’re facing.
Psalms 121:1-2 KJV
As believers we are no longer on the ground floor waiting for things to happen, we know the will of God and enforce it into our reality.
Praying in the New Testament is claiming what God has done not begging God to get.
When you’re praying from the New Testament you’re praying from a new covenant, dispensation and reality, taking all that God has already done.
Stop using old covenant verbage in New Testament realities. We are sons, we are not servants.
Hebrews 8:6-13
Prayer is not a transactional tool, it is a relationship tool. It is communication with God.
We are children of God’s grace we don’t need protocols( no need to hype or stress God) in prayer. He knows what you need and we all have direct access to God. It is not for transaction, it is for relationship.
Leave protocols in prayers, TAKE WHAT YOU NEED.
When we pray, it is called the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
2 Cor. 13:14, Galatians 5:5
The Lord’s Prayer Jesus gave as a guide was under the law. He had not yet died for us. After His death, everything in that prayer became our reality. Therefore, it is no longer a requirement or protocol to pray.
PRAY AS YOU GO, PRAY IN YOUR HEART, it is the first altar of prayer.
Prayer is Faith breathing. Let Faith breathe! Don’t suffocate it.
Grace makes all things available, Faith makes things obtainable.
Prayer opens unto you the largesse of God that will make you to take more.
Grace doesn’t make you pray less, it makes you pray more and right. Praying right makes prayers more beautiful.
Fight the good fight of faith, it’s already won and has been rigged in your favour.
In prayer you must understand your righteousness status. You’re righteous before God because of Christ.
James 5:15-16 KJV
In the New Testament prayer we pray from the place called DONE, FINISHED, SORTED.
We pray knowing that God has DONE IT.
If you know it is fine, sorted and finished, you should keep praying about it, because there’s more.
When you pray in the spirit you are praying the very will of God.
Jude 1:20
Ephesians 1:18, 5:18 TPT
Prayer is not in the duration it is in the donation, DONATE LONG.
Pray because it is done, sorted and finished.
The prayerless Christian is not a powerless Christian, it is a Christian thst has refused to use the power available to him.
Praying in the name of Jesus does not mean adding “in Jesus’ name at the end of the prayer”. It means praying in the stead of Jesus - in the position of Jesus.
If the devil can’t take your stuff, he’ll want to divide it.
Everytime there is a contention of what God has given you, it means it is time to DRAW YOUR SWORD.
Ephesians 6:17 KJV
The believer prays from the position of DONE, SORTED, FINISHED.
Jesus saves.
He saves from sin.
He saves from guilt.
He saves from fear.
He saves from shame.
He saves from darkness.
He saves from hopelessness.
He saves from judgment.
He saves from eternal death.
Everyone who puts their faith in Him will be saved.
Questions are not a sign that your faith is weak. Sometimes they're simply an invitation to see Jesus clearly through the Scriptures.
If you've ever wondered about God's Grace, Salvation, Faith, or something you've read in the Bible, don't keep carrying those questions alone. Bring them to Koinonia tonight, where every question is welcomed and every answer is anchored in the finished work of Christ.
The Gospel doesn't ask you to ignore your questions; it shines the light of Christ on them. Come and discover the freedom that comes from rightly understanding the Scriptures.
Join us today at 6:00 PM for Midweek Koinonia at The LOGIC Church, 115 T.F. Kuboye Road, Lekki, Lagos.
Bring your questions. Most importantly, invite your friends and family-someone you bring may receive the clarity they've been praying for.
SEE YOU IN CHURCH TODAY 6PM
