The further OEF and OIF recede in my personal rear view mirror, the more and more I realize that the crop of senior generals that led us in those wars were the worst cadre of generals the USA has seen since the Union Army of 1861-62.

And the ones who didn't have the good sense to fade into obscurity now strut around like peacocks, as if they have credibility.

I don’t see the military chaplains at the 2024 international religious freedom conference. 🙏🇺🇸

However, at the 2023 religious freedom conference, the chaplains were there and I asked them how many religious exemptions they gave for the Vax. They turned red and wouldn’t answer. They said it doesn’t matter anymore. I told them it does matter because many lives were destroyed financially and physically.

Who’s going to correct you, General? Allow me.

You’ve surfaced again, offering commentary on military matters with an air of authority that no longer belongs to you. Not after what you did in uniform. And certainly not after how you treated your own Soldiers when it mattered most.

Let me come to the defense of a Secretary of Defense I admire, at the expense of a general I do not. Don’t worry, I’ll be precise. That’s all I seem to be doing to generals these days. Correcting the record. Rebuilding credibility. Clearing the smoke people like you left behind.

Let’s start with the obvious. Yes, there were exactly seven four star generals at the outset of World War II. That number grew, as it should have, to meet the demands of a two front war. But it never metastasized into what we see now. 44 four stars ruling over bloated staffs, peacetime fiefdoms, and PowerPoint command posts where combat is theoretical and accountability optional.

What you’re defending with your veiled corrections isn’t readiness. It’s rot.

And it tracks. You weren’t known for battlefield presence. You were known for Twitter presence. Not for warfighting but for signaling. Not for standing by your troops, but for publicly disciplining them over COVID. Disagreement became disloyalty. Concern became misconduct. You turned health protection into a loyalty oath and wore your outrage like a virtue badge.

When Soldiers voiced real fears about suicide, you didn’t lead. You escalated. You tagged their schools and tried to silence them. You used your rank like a weapon. You didn’t listen. You punished.

That isn’t leadership. That’s theatrics in camouflage.

You weren’t relieved for charging forward. You were investigated for turning on your own. Not behind closed doors, but out in the open, with the American flag on your shoulder. You didn’t strengthen morale. You fractured it.

Now, a Secretary of Defense is trying to fix the system that rewarded people like you. And you think it’s your place to correct him...on anything?

No, General. That time is over. You had your moment. And you used it to posture.

Now it belongs to someone else. And they are trying to restore lethality where you left headlines.

So yes, General. I’ll correct you.

Because history remembers who win wars. And if they can't do that? They'll at least remember those who stood faithfully with their men in the darkest of moments.

Not who trended online. Not who went viral for picking childish fights on Twitter while commanding the Maneuver Center of Excellence in peacetime. Not the man more known for quotes than for combat.

Due respect, sir, it's time to take MacArthur's advice and just..... fade away.

The DOJ has agreed to a civil settlement with the family of Ashli Babbitt but her killer, officer Michael Byrd, still hasn't been arrested nor charged despite him admitting that he didn't believe she was armed (she wasn't) when he murdered her.

That needs to change.

As a reminder, the only person who killed anyone on January 6th was Michael Bryd...
