I’m a working Irish artist who is still happily learning, experimenting & creating numerous oil paintings, which I hope will add a little something to the world
Here's my painting of Eddie Vedder. Always loved his unique and amazing voice. Few if any singers have that kind of power in them. And I have to say painting this one did bring me back to watching those brilliant Pearl Jam unplugged MTV sessions of my youth:) #eddievedder
Here's my little painting of Kurt Cobain. I don't often use this method, but kind of liked the warm undertone, and then the unfinished look around the edges. I guess it makes it feel more like a painting. Anyway, think I did ok on this one. #KURTCOBAIN#oilpainting
This is a painting I copied from a film still taken from a movie called The Aftermath. Not a bad movie, not a stellar one either. But there were some beautiful shots in there, and this one provided a lovely example flesh tones lit by lovely snowy ambient light.
Here's me painting the big version of that little colour study posted a couple of days ago. You might need a decent sized wall for this Moma bear version though:)
Here's a little oil painting colour study of one of my roses. This is the baby version and then a much bigger canvas also in the studio.
Hope you like it. Thanks! Vincent
