What a great day at Indian Ridge Middle School’s New Student Round-Up! 🩵🖤🐆

I had the opportunity to plan and coordinate the logistics behind today’s event, ensuring our newest students had a smooth and welcoming introduction to campus. From organizing tours and presentations on school expectations and procedures to ending the afternoon with a pizza party. Every detail was focused on helping students feel confident and excited about becoming Jaguars.

Summer SOAR Week 1, done!

As a teacher, I had no idea just how much planning actually goes into opening a school every year. It is quite eye opening.

This week gave me a better understanding of what it takes to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. I was able to see how dismissal is handled, how schedules and breaks are managed, and how admin deals with conflict between staff members.

I’m excited to keep the momentum going and see what the next week brings.

My amazing SOAR Team just completed the 1st wk of summer school & it was a huge success(arrival to dismissal). Our Ss and parents received an A Rated Tx this week and everyone is very pleased. KUDOS!

Day 1 with our scholars! 3rd grade behavior assembly went great. Students were actively engaged in understanding the expectations during Summer SOAR. Also, assisted cafeteria staff with cleaning tables in between lunches. #teamwork @CoconutPalmElem @CPEPrincipal1 @BCPSLeadership

Days 1 and 2 as an Intern Assistant Principal have been a whirlwind! I coordinated logistics, met my new staff, welcomed parents and students during a meet-and-greet, and wrapped up Day 2 with an admin team photo alongside some special Disney friends. @BCPSLeadership @CoconutPalmElem
