@Cursedusd @Manga_Kamen It annoys me so much to see that people only consider video games as a legitimate art form when it tells stories the same way TV does. Sonic 2 is a masterpiece. So is Ocarina of Time. Why do we consider video games "elevated" only when start looking like other media?

@kickassvargas 5 is the weakest for me. It starts off strong and every subsequent set piece becomes less and less interesting. And the ending gets caught up in its own conceptual bulshit “oooh this modern world is all smoke and mirrors so we’ll trap the bad guy in a glass cage #symbolism”

Today I looked up the words "Donkey Kong 64" & "racism." And gamers, to my disappointment, think that game is totally fine and the black coding of DK is just cause "he’s a monkey"…. Seriously?!

Hot Take! This most recent generation of artists is far too hung up on anatomy and sensible proportions. It’s because they don’t want to be criticized. They fear justifying individuality. So happy my peers didn’t have those same reservations. Just have fun!

Why are people excited about The Movie Critic? I’m genuinely asking. Tarantino has been repeating himself and putting out weaker and weaker films for the past 10 years. Even if you like his latest efforts, you can’t say it even compares to his earlier work.
